The compact, powerful WR250F engine features liquid-cooled, DOHC 4-valve, fuel-injected powerplant features a forward-positioned straight downdraft intake with symmetrical intake ports, high-spec piston and aggressive cam profiles, tuned for cross country performance. The airflow system, cam chain and muffler are engineered to deliver linear power across the entire rev range.
The WR's championship-winning suspension performance is delivered through its adjustable KYB® coil spring-type fork with speed-sensitive damping that delivers exceptional balance between handling and bump absorption. Linkage-type rear suspension features a KYB® shock with specially tuned settings to provide less pitch on corner entry/exit for excellent stability.
Exceptional stopping power comes from a high performance braking system that provides control through high-spec components including a rigid front caliper with larger diameter pistons, aggressive brake pad compound, and a 270mm front rotor. The rear brake gets a lightweight rear caliper and hanger with a 240mm rear rotor to reduce unsprung weight.
The WR250F comes ready for fast fun with an electric starter, lightweight lithium battery, rugged plastic skid plate, 18-inch rear wheel, high-quality sealed O-ring chain, large 2.0-gallon fuel capacity, and a multi-function display including low fuel indicator.
The WR250F's advanced aluminum bilateral beam frame delivers optimum strength and flex balancing stability and cornering performance and creating a lightweight feel and increased front wheel traction, so riders can enter corners with greater confidence and more line choices.
