The XSR900 is equipped with high-quality materials enhancing the feel of this premium Sport Heritage motorcycle from the perforated fork covers and forged aluminum foot controls to the double-stitched seat not to mention the racer-inspired details such as the quick release buckles and folding passenger footrests.
Advanced six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit enables the XSR900's high-tech suite of rider aids which include lean angle-sensitive traction control (TCS) with 3 selectable intervention levels, slide control system (SCS), selectable lift control system (LIF), lean-sensitive brake control system (BC) that works with ABS to provide progressive brake force intervention, a back slip regulator (BSR) that reduces rear wheel lockup under engine braking and the Yamaha variable speed limiter (YVSL) that allows the rider to set a top-speed limit.
The striking retro-modern look of the Yamaha XSR900 is apparent from every angle. With the tank design, exposed aluminum frame and side silhouette drawing clear inspiration from iconic Yamaha race bikes of the past, there is also an unmistakably modern design element underscoring the machines high-performance capabilities.
A five-inch full-color TFT display provides the rider with the option of four different themes to suit specific riding situations or individual preference, including a XSR-exclusive theme featuring an analog-style tachometer. The display is navigated through integrated handlebar switches. Added connectivity with Yamaha Y-Connect allows riders to link their smartphone to the TFT display.
The 2027 XSR900 is equipped with Yamaha's third-generation Quick Shift System (QSS), enabling quick, clutchless upshifts and downshifts under both acceleration and deceleration. This system makes full-on acceleration exciting and downshifting fast and smooth with limited chassis disruption when changing gears.
