With a history of success with the Yamaha brand, Giaccmoto team owner Chuck Giacchetto heads into the 2026 MotoAmerica season alongside Liberty St. Development under the newly rebranded Liberty Yamaha Racing banner. As one of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A.’s (YMUS) official MotoAmerica teams, they will field Dominic Doyle aboard #26 Liberty Yamaha Racing YZF-R9 in the highly competitive MotoAmerica Supersport Championship.
“Giaccmoto is pleased to announce we have secured another season of official support from YMUS,” Chuck Giacchetto said. “We are pleased to see Dominic Doyle ride in the 2026 MotoAmerica Supersport series aboard the Liberty Yamaha Racing R9. Liberty St. Development is back for the second year of a multi-year commitment and will serve as the title sponsor of the effort.”
Liberty St. Development, a real estate development company based in Savannah, Georgia, has always had a passion for motorcycle racing. After backing the program in 2025, the company has expanded its involvement as title sponsor for the team’s Supersport campaign in 2026.

“As an avid fan of MotoAmerica racing, we are totally pumped to see Dom bump up in class and accept this new challenge aboard the already proven Yamaha R9,” said Gary Wiggin, owner of Liberty St. Development. “We’re proud to be a part of this program and are looking forward to the 2026 season.”
Doyle enters his fifth season with Giacchetto, having earned multiple wins and podium finishes in MotoAmerica support classes aboard Yamaha machinery. Over the past two seasons, he competed in Twins Cup on the YZF-R7 and Super Hooligans on the MT-09, steadily building toward a move into Supersport. Now, the talented South African takes the next step in his career with a team he knows well.
“I’m super excited to get the 2026 season rolling! I’ve been grinding all off-season, and I’m feeling great both on and off the bike,” said Doyle. “Making the jump to the Supersport class has been the goal for a while now, and I’m ready to take on such a stacked field. We’ve got a strong crew behind us, and the guys have left no stone unturned on the R9. I’m ready to keep learning and make the Liberty Yamaha Racing team proud. Huge thanks to Chuck for sticking by me and to all our partners for making this possible.”

“It’s great to see the continued progression of Liberty Yamaha Racing with a focused effort in the Supersport class,” said Jeff Sidlovsky, Yamaha Racing Assistant Department Manager for YMUS. “It’s a strong team with a dedicated crew, and we’re excited to see Dominic take the next step in his career as he moves into Supersport. Chuck has been a tremendous supporter of Yamaha Racing, and we’re proud of the partnership. He’s played an important role in the development of the YZF-R7 and MT-09 platforms, and we look forward to continuing that collaboration with the YZF-R9.”
The team is geared up for the season opener at Daytona International Speedway on March 5-7, in Daytona Beach, Florida.
